This book made me angry. I learned nothing new-nothing that many other authors hadn't already written about. There are so many other books out there that are much more insightful and helpful. I'm ticked that I wasted my money on such superficial trash. It's like the author read some really great books on the subject and thought he'd summarize a few of them. Don't understand the good reviews.

Although I agree with eating every 2 or 3 hours, I'm sorry but a 100 calorie piece of fruit will not satisfy me for longer than a tablespoon of peanutbutter which is also 100 calories.If anything the fruit will make me hungrier. The peanubutter satisfies me and keeps me full until my next meal. I'm going through menopause for the past 2 months and notice changes happening in my body. I've always been a pretty good eater and always been able to maintain my weight but finding it harder since menopause kicked in. Thought this book might help, but sadly it did not.Continuing on my search.....

This book does have some good tips that aren't mentioned in other weight loss books but it is nothing special compared to all the others. Eat less, eat vegtables and whole grains. Do excersize. It is the same as all the others. I am finding that I need to get off my butt and work at weight loss there is no easy fix.

Horrible. Every chapter is like you're reading an infomercial! No true plan or answer like it says if offers. Total waste of time!!! I stopped reading it half way through, couldn't take anymore! Very disappointing!

I've never seen a crappier collection of advice. They want me to UP my carb intake. Idiots. And their "advice" about exercise is all wrong. I wish it were worth the time for me to return this. I'm too embarrassed to even give it away for free.

This book was a great read. I plan to follow it and hopefully see results. That will determine if it’s a great book.

This is a common sense book and I try to follow most of the suggestions. Big in this book is the 100 calorie snacking, an apple mid morning, etc... I've seen this work on some people, but I'm not one of them.... The premise of eating one type of carb at each meal is hard to remember to do but makes sense...just haven't been able to stick to it because one of the main menopause symptoms I have is a lack of motivation! I used to be a marathon runner....stopped mid-way a 17 mile run and said to myself "What the heck am I doing?" and walked home, this was 2 years ago. I have 4 marathons under my belt and my goal is to run a 5th when I'm 55, which is 16 months away but its even hard to motivate myself to walk! We need a book that deals with the blah mentality of menopause!

too difficult to follow. hate the way its written. extremely boring and complicated. come on. someone write something easier to follow along.
